Case in point: helping my fussiest client (my mum) look for shoes for my brother's wedding.
She was trying on a couple of pairs in Dune when a pair of cheeky, pink, leopard print heels caught my eye in the sale rack.
Like all great love stories, I wasn't looking for pink leopard print heels and I certainly didn't need a pair of pink leopard print heels. In fact, I was perfectly content with my current (non-pink) leopard print heels. But none of this mattered. As soon as I saw them, logic went out the window and I knew they were coming home with me.
However, it was love at first sight and, just like Cinderella, I tried them on, they fitted perfectly and we're going to live happily ever after together in a big castle! Okay, castle might be a slight exaggeration but a girl can dream...
I got these leather (well, imitation leather) joggers from H&M last September and I've worn them so many times. They were only £24.99 so I've definitely had my money's worth from them.
However, they do have the same shoes in blue. It would be ridiculous if I bought these too, right? But they're only £23. And they have my size. And they fit really well. And they're so pretty. And they have magically appeared in my shopping bag. Ooops!
