With my brothers wedding looming not too distantly on the horizon, perfecting my skincare routine is undoubtedly a top priority... well, along with dropping about three dress sizes between now and the start of August and robbing a bank so I can afford the Victoria Beckham dress my heart is set on.
I've always had annoying 'problem' skin and was prone to bad breakouts. A hefty dose of Roaccutane certainly sorted out the breakouts and I always thought that once that was under control, I would be perfectly happy with my skin. I was wrong.
Achieving that flawless, dewy, sun-kissed glow is my ultimate skin goal.
It's safe to say that I have invested a LOT of time and money in products that promise the earth but, more often than not, fail to deliver.
So you'll forgive my cynicism when I came across the new "skin saviour' products by Juliette Armand.
I'd recently been doing a lot of research on all the different kinds of acid or chemical peels that are available but I've also heard some horror stories about what it looks like immediately after the treatment. I certainly can't get the image of Samantha from Sex and the City post-chemical peel out of my head!
I've previously suffered from oily skin- hence the breakouts, but my skin felt so try and tight and was crying out for moisture. I washed my face before I went to bed and applied a small amount of the serum all over my face.
When I got up the next morning, I couldn't believe the difference to my skin overnight. My skin still felt dewy as if I just applied moisturiser or the serum a short while before.
I continued to use my serum before bed after washing my face for the rest of the week and my skin has never felt better. My make up goes on better and my skin feels much more dewy without being greasy or oily.
Given my success with the Hyularonic Acid, I'm definitely going to add another couple of Juliette Armand products into my skincare routine.
I definitely want to try the Clarity Tinted Cream which looks as if it'll be great at dealing with annoying breakouts!
